4. Joovy Twin Roo+
A frame stroller that is minimalist The Twin Roo+ offers car seat click-in functionality and a huge storage bin. It's among the most lightweight twin strollers available. It weighs only 24 pounds. without attachments for infant car seats. This is quite light for a double stroller. It is a bit heavier than the UPPAbaby Vista v2 Double and the Thule Urban Glide 2 Double.
The Roo+ comes with a quick-start guide, and is easy to use. It snaps together quickly and takes less than 10 minutes to get road-ready. It doesn't have an integrated canopy which means your kids will need to wear their own sunshades in case they require additional protection from the elements.
During our tests, we found that the Roo+ was a dual stroller that was able to handle. It can navigate the majority of terrains easily, but it can be difficult to maneuver over grassy areas and gravel. It can also be difficult to steer over and up curbs that are 1 inch in height. We wouldn't recommend using this stroller off-road or on stairs, however it does provide excellent suspension to reduce bumps for the passengers.
The Roo+ has a large storage bin underneath the seat, but it's difficult to access without taking off infant car seats. This is a common issue twin frame strollers commonly face, but Joovy has an underseat baby carrier to solve this problem.
The Roo+ doesn't have a self-standing fold or cup holders. This is a minor sacrifice to make for its car seat compatibility and storage features however we'd like a little more versatility from our strollers. The stroller's versatility in seating arrangement is a major plus. Parents can mount their infant car seats either opposite directions or in the same direction, depending on their requirements.
5. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
Delta Children LX Side by Side scored well in terms of weight and size folded. It's the top value double umbrella stroller we've seen in our review. It also scores well for maneuverability, a key attribute for parents looking for an umbrella stroller that can fit into small spaces. The Delta is a bare-bones product that lacks some features that other strollers in our testing offer, like a deep recline or large storage baskets. It's a great choice for families on a tight budget or for those who only require a second stroller for occasional use, like for a trip to the zoo.
The LX Side by Side is a light, compact stroller that is easy to turn and push. Its compact frame, with swivel wheels in the front and padded shoulder pad provide a smooth ride. The multi-position reclining seats and cup holders for parents allow for a comfortable ride for passengers.
